The Devil is in the Details – 2

The following information is from the audio tapes recorded that morning posted by this researcher found here:

—“At 29:00 into second tape (~36 mins after the shooting is broadcast on police radios), everyone is told that triage will be set up at the FD. Again, making no sense as triage would “normally” be as close to the scene, and in this case there is no more shooter.

At 17:20 into the third tape, report comes in that “At this time I have 4 students who left the school being transported back to the meeting room at the firehouse“ – why would they be transported back? Why were they not questioned at their homes, as this would further traumatize the students in coming back to the scene of the crime.

At 18:00 into third tape, “they” are told to gather information, and names of the 4 students and refer them to “me” (whoever that is)

At 22:49 of the third tape, Someone asks for confirmation of registration of license plate 872-YEO. This is the suspect’s Honda Accord (shown HERE at the Washington Post), supposedly his mother’s car. There is speculation that this car is not registered to Nancy Lanza, but I have not found definitive proof of that yet.

At 4:00 mins into the 5th tape (~2 hrs. 15 min. since shooting called over radio), an officer states “They (HQ) were inquiring about video camera’s at the Sandy Hook School. There are no video camera’s that record; the only video camera’s are to let people in… which does not record…”


If we “assume” the shooting started ~ 1-2 mins before the dispatch notifies cops, we are talking total time of 3:30 to 4:30 from the time Adam Lanza shot out the glass and killed himself. In that short span, he is supposed to have shot the principal, psychologist and vice-principal in the hallway, who attempted to disarm him, then go to a room and shoot the kids in there, come out, the officer(s) at the rear of hallway see him, he ducks into another room and shoots everyone in there, then kills himself.

THAT is if it was 1-2 minutes before dispatch notifies everyone. Also note the police apprehend two suspects and have at least one of them prone on the ground (the other ran into the woods which I have video on)…”——–

Like so many other researchers every time I review a source, which I found much earlier, I notice once again how many damning contradictions riddle the official story…

—“17:50 – “We need boxes (i.e., ambulances?) here – call Danbury if you have to“”—

This is supposed to be seventeen minutes into the incident and yet call “Danbury” if you have to?  The first boy to be removed from the scene, by a police officer, from the pile of bodies, plus two more are already there according to Danbury’s own Face-book page posted at 8:47 a. m.

“We are here to care for any victims and their families in any way they need us. Our hearts and prayers are extended to anyone involved in this terrible tragedy. To date, three patients have been transported to Danbury Hospital from the scene.

Out of abundance of caution and not because of any direct threat Danbury Hospital is under lockdown. This allows us simply to focus on the important work at hand.”

And only a few minutes later another AP report stated this:

“At 9:53 AM, no more than ten minutes after the reported shooting ceased, the Associated Press published a story, “Official with Knowledge of Connecticut School Shooting Says 27 Dead, Including 18 Children.”

[—“AP and the Washington Post have since removed the story from their websites in lieu of subsequent reports that took their cue from a press conference scheduled for later that day.”—]

Amazing how specific the number of victims are a mere ten minutes later despite all of the other glaring mistakes and contradictions. And another post which contradicts every other accounting:

“Initial 911 calls stated that multiple students were trapped in a classroom, possibly with a gunman, according to a Connecticut State Police source.

An early accounting of who was found still alive at the scene:

“Police arriving at Rousseau’s classroom heard what sounded like a child’s moans from where the bodies of the children had collapsed together. Police had to move several bodies to reach an injured boy, who died en route to Danbury Hospital, the Courant reports.”

And yet we have another accounting of the policeman finding a severely injured child: Ana Marquez-Greene, aged six, died in hospital after being shot at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

The dispatch

“Around 9:30 a.m., the Newtown police dispatch operator alerts units that a caller has reported a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Officer William Chapman bolts from his desk and out to his cruiser. The school is three miles away — up the hill, a right on Church Hill Road, under Interstate 84 and by the shops and restaurants of Sandy Hook’s four corners and past the cemetery with its leaning gray tombstones dating to 1813. Then a hard right on Dickinson to get back to the school. He tells himself to stay calm, to drive swiftly but safely.

He listens to the dispatch reports on his cruiser radio. He has his rifle ready as he pulls into the school parking lot.

There are nine or 10 other Newtown officers there, including Chief Michael Kehoe. Chapman hears rifle fire inside the school. He and Officer Scott Smith charge through the front door, where the glass has been shot out, while Kehoe and another officer go in through a side entrance.

This is serious, he thinks.

Officers are trained to check rooms to make sure a shooter is not lurking, so Chapman and Smith do not linger in rooms where there are victims. They are hunting for the shooter.

Officers discover the shooter is dead. Chapman and Smith go back down the hall. They return to an area where they know there are victims — a first-grade classroom where a majority of the slain children are found.

The room is full of the bodies of children. But one child, a little girl, still shows signs of life.   A tall, muscular man, Chapman scoops the child into his arms and runs out to find an ambulance. He tells the little girl she is safe, that the police are there to protect her and that she is loved.”

No mention what-so-ever of the other little boy, or a second girl…[update] (it was unclear whether or not this was a child or adult. Further checking confirms this was an adult female.) , plus the miracle girl standing up and simply walking out the door?

In Soto’s class there are seven students safe in the closet. The audio record accounts for four kids arriving at the station. There is another report of three kids leaving the school. Then there is the account of Mr. Rosen, who upon hearing gunshots and finding traumatized kids on his front lawn does not immediately dial 911. Nonetheless, if even five students from Miss Soto’s class did arrive at his house then all early media reports that she did in fact keep all of her students safe remain true.

The remaining two classrooms have to be Rousseau and D’Amato, but the reports are in conflict. Some examples:

“Lanza moved past the first grade classroom, possibly believing nobody was in it, as the teacher had heard the noise and promptly hid her children in a bathroom. Instead, Lanza stopped at substitute teacher Lauren Rousseau’s classroom, where he shot and killed all 14 children inside, Rousseau , and a special education teacher. Investigators say that the children were huddled together in fear, holding each other. One boy in the classroom was still alive when authorities arrived, but he passed away en route to the hospital.

Ms Soto had hidden the children in a closet, but evidence shows that she did not hide herself. The suspect [Lanza?] demanded to know where the students were, but Soto told him that they were across the building in the auditorium. He discovered them, however, when six of them tried to escape. He shot and killed them, Soto, and another teacher in the room. Reports say that Soto intentionally put herself in front of the children, taking fire while attempting to save her pupils. Seven of Soto’s children were still grouped together in the closet when authorities arrived.”

Robert Licata said his six-year-old son was in class when the gunman burst in and shot the teacher. ‘That’s when my son grabbed a bunch of his friends and ran out the door,’ he said. ‘He was very brave. He waited for his friends.'”

The shooting of Miss Rousseau’s car, and her subsequent murder, raises questions about whether the teacher was specifically targeted.

“Reporter #9: In terms of the children, were they all found in one classroom or— Carver: Uhm … [inaudible] [Turns to Lieutenant Vance] Paul and company will deal with that.

Reporter #9: What?

Carver: Paul and company will deal with that. Lieutenant Vance is going to handle that one.”

“In a first-grade classroom, Lauren Rousseau, a substitute teacher, was shot and killed. Most of the students in her class were killed; a six-year-old girl was the sole survivor. The girl’s family pastor said that she survived the mass shooting by playing dead and remaining still until the building grew quiet, and she felt it was safe to leave. She ran from the school, and was the first child to escape the building. When she reached her mother, she said, “Mommy, I’m okay, but all my friends are dead.” The child described the shooter as a very angry man.”

Anne Marie Murphy, a teacher’s aide who worked with special-needs students, shielded six-year-old Dylan Hockley with her body, trying to protect him from the bullets that killed them both.[40][41] Teacher’s aide Rachel D’Avino, who had been employed for a week at the school to work with a special-needs student, also died trying to protect her students.”

He visited two classrooms,” said a law enforcement official at the scene, adding that those two classrooms were adjoining.

Initial reports were quite specific in details:

The gunman, who was believed to be in his 20s, walked into a classroom where his mother was a teacher. He shot and killed her and then shot 18 students in the classroom. He also shot seven other adults.The gunman then killed himself inside the school. The shooting ranks among the worst in recent United States history. “NYT

“The gunman deliberately went to Sandy Hook Elementary School with the intention of killing his mother who was a kindergarten teacher at the school, according to NBC Channel 4.

According to the report, the gunman left a Hoboken, NJ home where there apparently is a victim. It is believed that the gunman then went to Sandy Hook where his mother worked as a teacher and began shooting near the principal’s office. The shooter then went to his mother’s kindergarten classroom and killed her and her students, according to the report.

And this report as well from police audio:

“10:28: “Roger, Closet in the kitchen, you have some victims. Let us know, we’ll call the number so you know they’re coming.”

Then, an hour after the first call, the horror of the crime was laid bare as an officer at the scene spoke of “victims” in a closet.

There’s a teacher and 18 kids there,” he said in a grim voice.

The communications were not officially released, but were posted on YouTube by a scanner monitor and authenticated by police.”

“[Late Morning]
In a December 14 Newtown Bee article unidentified school personnel are commended for their courage. Among them are school principal Dawn Hochsprung, who recounted to Bee Editor John Voket[5] how “a masked man entered the school with a rifle and started shooting multiple shots – more than she could count – that went ‘on and on.’”

The problem with the account was that it conflicted with a subsequent storyline where Hochsprung was the first to be killed by the gunmen.

What is quite perplexing is the accuracy of the number of dead in nearly every report, but the stupendous impossibility of reporting Nancy Lanza is dead and is a K-teacher at the school. In addition, the K-teachers and their students were some of the very first to leave the school under police escort. The number of classrooms involved in the shooting  remains at two in most reports… plus the additional audio record of the victims(18)  in the kitchen closet, plus an additional adult victim(s), none of which were ever identified, or even acknowledged again in any subsequent report.

The Newtown Bee ran the early story on Hochsprung only to retract it with no explanation as to why it was ever published in the first place. This begs the obvious question of how such an interview could have occurred if the on scene reports correctly identified the principle as one of the first to be shot. The Newtown Bee had a reporter right there taking pictures, so how does a mistake like this pass unnoticed? Either Hochsprung, was alive to make a interview call, or the story was made up to place the “masked man” into the media circus passing for an investigation.

[update] Or an impostor was making the phone call.

3:35 p.m.   “Lt. Paul Vance has given us a death toll: 18 children and six adults died at the scene which Vance says is one section of the school and occurred in two rooms; *two children died at the hospital. The official death toll is at 27, and confirms at least one fatality at another crime scene.”

So the “Official” at 9:53 was absolutely correct on all accounts except for the additional detail of three victims arriving at the hospital not just two?

[Update] When I completed this initial post I had yet to find certain additional information to help piece together many of the conflicting reports.  As new information was found I included those findings in later posts, especially in regard to the “victims” in the closet.

While attempting to determine why so many of the students look a year older in update pictures, as opposed to the class photo’s I came across additional images. I placed several of these additional class pictures with the “official” for easy comparison purposes:

Why would it be necessary to cut off the top of the image above? Daniel Barden, 7 was pictured as missing his front teeth and yet in the top photo he has all of his teeth and looks at least a year older. Catherine Hubbard, 6 is also in the top photo and she too looks a year older.

The three adult woman pictured are not any of the class teachers as recognized, in any media photo so far found.

[Update] I came across this interview | The last moment she remembered was putting her daughter on the bus that morning for school. We join Sheldon Neil on the ground in Newtown, CT – speaking with Jen Hubbard, whose daughter was killed at Sandy Hook Elementary.

This teacher is not listed on the Sandy Hook web site and yet she describes being there that morning. Considering the fact that Jen Hubbard is the Mother of Catherine, who is in the mystery class photo, it stands to reason why Kim Wise was interviewed is because Catherine was in her class. What makes no sense is that Wise is not listed period and that Catherine was killed that morning, but not in her class?

I have no explanation for what this implies, only that it is one more significant contradiction to the official media reports and the actual teacher listings.  Mackenzie, Sally on her web page states she is a third grade teacher, but she is listed on the second grade page. If Kim Wise is a second grade teacher then that would make six teachers total. If this is true then the class picture is of second grade students. If skeptics say she has to be a 1st grade teacher then there would be seven teachers 1st grade or the school listing itself was never true.

In consideration of this interview the complete absence of this teacher from the web site means this was purposeful and intended to deceive.

If the second class above is supposed to be the class taught by Rousseau, as depicting all fifteen class members, then, how can some of these same students be in another class picture and a year older?

[The class photo may indeed be of these kids in the first grade, but that was LAST year not this one 2012 -13.]

No black male student was ever said to be a victim. Caroline Previdi, 6 also looks physically bigger and older in the top class photo. The inset in the top photo was from another parent and while not easy to see, by comparing both shots a count of fifteen students can be verified. If this was just a mom taking a picture of her own child and friends, why would another parent have the exact same photo in her lap? It makes more sense that this is a class photo given to parents whose kids are in the same class. Who is the teacher? When was this class photo taken? Sure looks nice and green in the background. Josephine Gay, 7 is sitting in the front row. Who is the blond girl on her right? She does not look like Grace McDonnell, 7.


Grace also looks a year older.

Part three will seek to resolve the conflicting reports of the two classrooms.

    The children in the top picture all have their upper, permanent incisors and that makes them closer to eight years-old than seven. One of the pictures of Grace McDonnell shows her with permanent teeth but she is said to have turned seven in November 2012 – she would have not been even seven years-old when school pictures were taken!

    I think they used class pictures from a different time, and possibly a different place to create new children. There isn’t much to help date the photos, but a tie-dyed shirt seems a little “vintage” for a first grader in 2012. I think it may even be possible that the photos of “Grace McDonnell” are childhood photos of her “mother”, Lynn McDonnell. Mrs. McDonnell’s story about how Grace loved the “peace sign” and was “all about peace” seems more like something from the seventies. I would be surprised to find that any seven year-olds today would know what a “peace sign” is.

      Krystle Ann has been following this incident very closely: “From the moment news broke out of there being a school shooting in nearby Newtown I kept my eyes and ears open for updates and information on what was going on, most importantly the number of casualties. I was so distracted hearing of how many lives were lost that I failed to really consider all of the conflicting stories/information being received by the media and how in the end it all seems completely bizarre.”

      After reading through her Blog, while trying to find out more about the various ‘contradictions’ surrounding the, “Nancy Lanza the K-teacher was reported dead in a classroom, long before her actual physical body was found” which is of course impossible, unless the detectives are blessed with super-natural powers…. not likely… I realized she was absolutely correct. Too many contradictions and no concrete answers to even the most basic questions period.

      The many photo’s released by the parents did not seem to be consistent with the ages of the victims as reported. There is a pattern here as well. Class photo backgrounds(green foliage) versus those with none. No scrap book images of this year except for the courtyard. From the year before is a photo of Noah’s twin sister with 1st graders. Showing another photo with these kids a year older is a real official story breaker. Which is why the up-dated photo’s of the victims become proof the cart cannot come before the horse.

      I also think some of the identity matches made in the K-photo are incorrect… and Kim Wise was never listed as K-teacher[another poster thought the blond female was her] To me looks like an assistant to the guy doing the speaking. Grace is definitely at the top of the second group row… the little boy down in front mis-identified (Benjamin) is actually the same boy in the mystery class photo front row… same exact eyes and facial features. There is much more here and it will be looked at specifically…. older versus too young…

    The top picture and the closeup of the same group is a fabrication made to group “victims” as if it is a class picture. You will notice in the closeup that Daniel Barden is missing his right arm while the entire circumference of his shirt’s armhole is visible. That is not possible in a real photograph unless Barden were an amputee. just below the shoulder joint. The photoshop contrivance may have been a work in progress that was discarded unfinished because there were conflicts with the timeline, storyline, or “victims”. Legitimate Sandy Hook parents would not have a photo-shopped class picture – only trusted operatives would have access to such a thing.
